Property Transactions Worth USD 5.73B Were Registered in Q3 2022 in Abu Dhabi

The Emirati capital showed a continued growth in the real estate market. As a result, in Q3 2022 the sum of transactions reached AED 21.04B (USD 5.73B) in accordance with the Department of Municipalities and Transport. The total number of transactions during this period was 4,441.

Yas Island, the entertainment hub of Abu Dhabi, became the most popular area with transactions worth AED 1B (USD 272M). Saadiyat Island, known for its cultural spaces and is the home of Louvre Abu Dhabi, came second with AED 929M (USD 253M). The next places were taken by Al Shamkha, Al Reem Island and Khalifa City with AED 641M (USD 175M), AED 541M (USD 147M) and AED 208M (USD 57M) respectively. Mohammed bin Zayed City reached transactions worth AED 182M (USD 50M).

The Executive Director of the Real Estate Sector at the Department of Municipalities and Transport, Dr. Adib Al-Afifi, stated that the real estate market of the Emirati capital continues showing outstanding results, as well as sustainable growth. He added that providing various investment options in the sphere of real estate and increasing the transparency of this sector will strengthen the position of Abu Dhabi in the world, and make it the most attractive place for real estate investment.
