Mubadala Investment Company is an Abu Dhabi-based public real estate developer. The company was established in 2017 through the merger of International Petroleum Investment Company and Mubadala Development Company. In 2018, the company was significantly strengthened by the addition of the capital city government’s investment arm, the Abu Dhabi Investment Council. Mubadala Investment Company is now one of the top three funds in the UAE.

Mubadala Investment Company operates in more than 50 countries. It has branches in the UAE, the US, Russia, China, Brazil, and the UK.
Mubadala’s real estate and infrastructure department specialises in construction and real estate investments.
The company’s most famous project is on Al Maryah Island, which covers an area of 114 hectares. In collaboration with Webridge Properties, Al Maryah Vista is one of the most popular projects on the island. It is a 22-storey tower with upscale amenities, such as swimming pools and a gym.
Al Maryah Vista features apartments, studios, duplexes, and penthouses ranging in size from 341 sq. ft. (32 sq. m.) to 3,310 sq. ft. (308 sq. m.). Units range in price from AED 323,000 (USD 88,000) to AED 6,072,000 (USD 1,653,000).

In addition to residential complexes, Al Maryah Island offers a variety of commercial projects, including Abu Dhabi Global Market Square, which covers an area of 5,000,000 sq. ft. (465,000 sq. m.). It features retail stores, hotel space, and office units for sale. The area has four commercial towers: Al Sila, Al Sarab, Al Maqam, and Al Khatem, as well as two luxury hotels: Rosewood Abu Dhabi and Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi.
Mubadala Investment Company also oversees the construction of the UAE University campus in Al Maqam, which was commissioned in 2011. The company also worked on the Sorbonne University in Abu Dhabi, which was implemented through a public-private partnership with the UAE Ministry of Education. The university was commissioned in 2010 and has a total of 54 structures on its campus.
