UAE Pass

The UAE Pass allows you to sign into over 6,000 federal, local, and private government services through a single mobile-based login. The app is available on iTunes and Google Play.

The UAE Pass application is the first national digital identity and signature solution that enables individuals to identify themselves to government service providers in all emirates including Abu Dhabi, through a smartphone-based authentication. In addition, the app enables users to sign documents digitally with a high level of security.

You need to download this time-saving app to your phone and scan your original Emirates ID to start the verification process. You will be prompted to add a PIN number and then you will need to find a UAE Pass kiosk where you can scan your fingerprints and gain your credentials.

Sections of the app include property for rent, property for sale, rooms for rent, motors, classifieds, furniture & garden, mobile phones & tablets, jobs and community section for various services like movers, home repairs and tutor services.

Instashop is one of the most popular delivery apps among the many expats living and working in the UAE. The delivery service is available across Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. The easy-to-use app is known for its speedy delivery: order is delivered in around 45 minutes.

All you need to do is find a supermarket nearby, select your items, and delivery will be free over a certain amount. The payment can be made online with your credit card or in cash when your delivery arrives.
