Virtual tours of Yas Island

‘Players’ are offered a virtual territory of 10 sq. mi. Customizable avatars and rewards for each player will also become part of the journey.

Saeed Al Fazari, Executive Director of Strategic Affairs at the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT), said that the exciting adventure in virtual reality is the latest example of Abu Dhabi’s desire to use innovation and creativity to reach a wider audience. Everyone can get to know the emirate without even leaving their home.

DCT Abu Dhabi has taken on the task of developing, protecting and promoting Abu Dhabi as a leading tourist destination. Launching virtual tours helps everyone and anyone to learn more about the emirate in a new way, which awakens interest in everything the UAE capital has to offer.

Rashed Al Omaira, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldar Development, said that the virtual Yas Island will help their audience get to know the island as a world-class location for living, working and to visit. The use of innovations will allow you to learn and explore the history of the emirate and immerse people from all over the world in it.
